14 апреля (среда) в 19:00 Магистерская программа "Когнитивные науки и технологии: от нейрона к познанию" в Высшей Школе Экономики совместно с Культурно-просветительским центром "Архэ" приглашает на лекцию "Neuro enhancement by Non Invasive Brain Stimulation: How can we boost brain functions?" (на английском языке без перевода).

🧠 Is it possible to boost brain functions by Non Invasive Brain Stimulation (NIBS)? Here, we introduce NIBS techniques able to address the causal role between specific brain regions and their functions. We discuss the pioneering studies that showed how Transcranial Electrical Stimulation is able to induce robust increase of cortical excitability, thereby boosting behavioral performance of motor and cognitive tasks in humans. A phenomenon recently labeled as Neuroenhancement. Neuroenhancement refers to the targeted enhancement and extension of motor and cognitive abilities based on an understanding of their underlying neurobiology. The evidence about neuroenhancement by NIBS paves the way for clinical application on patients with motor and cognitive disorders.
