A body of a teenager named Alick is found at the border of a quiet little town. Nearby in the ravine there was also a car of a man named Shatsky who was traveling from St. Petersburg. The original version of a car crash is discarded when the police finds water in the lungs of the deceased boy. But if he was murdered, by whom then? Young detective Anna suspects the stranger, her boss Mikhail Sergeyevich thinks that the murderer is someone from the inside. During the investigation, to which Shatsky also joins trying to justify himself, the team finds out that too many people from the town had motives for the murder.
