Alexa, a transgender woman from St. Louis and a self-proclaimed super nerd, shares how empowering cosplay has been throughout her transition.

Cosplay has given Alexa a new confidence and has helped her feel more comfortable appearing in public as a woman. This week, we transform her into one of her favorite characters - D.Va from Overwatch, a nimble and powerful female mech.
