Film about the international competition for the design of two new Moscow metro stations "Prospect Marshala Zhukova" and "Klenoviy Bulvar 2".
The video contains the most vivid moments of the competition, footage from all its stages, interviews with members of the jury. The film tells about the aims that the initiator of the competition set for the competitors, as well as the results that the winners achieved during the preparation of their concepts.
The winners were the architectural bureau ASADOV (Moscow, Russia), which will create the appearance of the station “Prospect Marshala Zhukov”, and Zaha Hadid Architects, which won the first prize in the nomination “Station“ Klenoviy Bulvar 2 ”(consortium members: A-project, Krost (Moscow, Russia) , Arup Lighting (London, UK), Systematica slr (Milan, Italy)).
The competition was initiated by Mosinzhproekt JSC, the single operator of the Moscow Metro development program, and was held with the support of the Moscow Committee for Architecture and Construction and with the participation of the chief architect of Moscow, Sergei Kuznetsov. The operator of the competition is the Agency for Strategic Development "CENTER".
