A press conference of the Open International Competition for development of master plan for Grozny

On March 29, a press conference dedicated to the launch of the Open International Competition for the development of a master plan for the city of Grozny, Chechen Republic took place.

The moderator was Andrey Zhurankov, the head of the analytical group of the TASS Press Center.

Speakers are:
— Khas-Magomed Kadyrov, Mayor of Grozny;
— Anton Finogenov, Director for Urban Environment Development at JSC "DOM.RF";
— Muslim Gajrbekov, Chairman of the State Committee on Architecture and City Planning of the Chechen Republic;
— Alihan Tokshaev, Chief Architect of Grozny;
— Sergei Georgievskii, Co-founder of the Agency for strategic development “CENTER”.

The initiator of the Competition – Mayor’s Office of the Grozny city with the support of the Government of the Chechen Republic and the major Russian financial institute in the field of development DOM.RF.

Organizing Committee – Agency for strategic development "CENTER”, analytical and consulting company working in the field of development, urban planning and urban science.

The purpose of the competition is to select the optimal master plan of the capital of the Chechen Republic, capable of ensuring the long-term and sustainable development of Grozny, including increasing the efficiency of using the territory taking into account the social and economic conditions.
