The Great Pyramid of Giza (also known as the Pyramid of Khufu or the Pyramid of Cheops) is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and it is the only one to remain largely intact.
To find the global consensual opinion on the New Seven Wonders of the World the special global project was organized all over the planet.
100000000 people took part in the global internet and phone interview to vote for the new Seven Wonders of the World in the list of the most famous architectural monuments representing historical and cultural heritage of the mankind. The winners were announced in Lisbon, Portugal, 07.07.2007.

Новые семь чудес света — проект, целью которого стал поиск современных семи чудес света.
Выборы новых семи чудес света из известных архитектурных сооружений мира проходили с помощью опроса через интернет и телефон. Около 100 миллионов человек отдали свои голоса. Итог был объявлен 7 июля 2007 года в Лиссабоне, Португалия.
