"Mae Kajan hot spring" area on the way to Chiang Mai. The area boasted three natural hot spring wells. There was also a man made terrain with the natural hot spring water flowing through. There is some local shopping in the market selling souvenirs, clothing, artworks, rings, jewelry, and woodcarvings.
"White temple"
Officially known as Wat Rong Khun, the White Temple in Chiang Rai has been luring tourists north from Chiang Mai since 1997. The one-of-a-kind example of epic artwork was created by eccentric local artist, Ajarn Chalermchai Kositpipat. He designed and constructed the White Temple with his own funds.
