Ruston Kelly’s new album, "Pale, Through the Window," released on Friday, Sept. 12, 2025, and just a few weeks later, Kelly visited The Current studio to play solo acoustic versions of songs from the new record.

After the music, Kelly sat down with The Current’s Zach McCormick to talk about the making of the record. Kelly talked about his discoveries, including learning how to embrace joy … and how to play pickleball! Beyond the album, Kelly shed light on how he came to collaborate with singer-songwriter Annie DiRusso.
