Genuinely constructed and based on atmosphere and melody, yet banging away on the dancefloor from the moment it abandons its build-up and unfolds the second chapter in its unwritten construction. By the sounds of it, Mark Sixma's back from never gone. His 'Opus Sectum' and 'Paradise Lost' did more than well this summer, and so did his 'Byte Me' and collab with Willem van Hanegem on 'Origin'. But it's time for two more, to make it through winter.
'Silverback' and 'Ultimatum' will very well do the job. They've got the phat bass, well-constructed ambience and unmistakable M6 sound. Striking down trance, progressive and a hint of techno, Mark once again resides his production-work amongst the indefinable, but most of all original tracks.
