MirrorWeb presents how they built a Serverless website archival workflow system through Step Functions, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Cognito and Cloudwatch Events. The architecture also addresses challenges on long running tasks during a website archival process such as archiving videos by leveraging StepFunctions and Lambda to launch and delegate a task to an EC2 instance or a Docker container via ECS - All within a single StepFunction State Machine.
