Two Approaches to Cloud Adoption and Organizational Transformation

In this session, hear from Emory University as they walk through best practices for organizational development, in preparation for a large scale cloud migration. John Ellis, PhD and Deputy CIO will detail a unique migration strategy consisting of two implementation teams. The first team utilized a separate team approach to develop a secure framework that our researchers use for AWS, while the second team leveraged existing methodologies coupled with the AWS Cloud Adoption Framework, to work through migration readiness and planning for our data center migrations. In this session we will share our lessons learned along the way and discuss the advantages/disadvantages of both approaches.
