FSx Intelligent-Tiering is an elastic storage class designed to optimize costs by automatically moving data to the most cost-effective tier when access patterns change. FSx Intelligent-Tiering provides up to 85% lower costs than the Amazon FSx solid state drive (SSD) storage class, and up to 20% lower costs compared to traditional on-premises hard disk drive (HDD) deployments.
