🟦 The smart Zigbee button from Tuya is one of the simplest and most convenient solutions for controlling lights, gates, sockets and other devices without drilling walls, laying wires and unnecessary hassle. Just put the button next to you on the nightstand or stick it on the wall - and control the whole house without getting out of bed.
In this video, I will tell you about the smart Tuya scene switch, which works on the Zigbee 3.0 protocol and can be used both in the Tuya Smart / Smart Life ecosystem and in Home Assistant - with full support via Zigbee2MQTT. We connect, configure, test - and see how it all works in real conditions.
I have a 2-button version for review, but others are also available: with 1, 3, and 4 buttons. Each of them can launch different scenarios - lighting control, opening gates, turning on street lights, activating the "Night" mode, and other tasks. The main thing is that all this works over the air, via Zigbee, and does not require a single wire.
I will show you how to connect the button to the Tuya gateway, how to configure actions via the application, how to set up automation and use this button as a trigger. Next, we will test the operation in Home Assistant: first through regular cloud integration, and then through Zigbee2MQTT, where the device fully reveals its capabilities.
I will also show how the button controls the light, gates, and wicket in my house. I will tell you why it is convenient in real life, and how you can use it in practice - at least in the bedroom, at least in the yard, at least as a wireless remote control for the whole family.
