For the 12th time, Nokia and NYU WIRELESS convened the distinguished Brooklyn 6G Summit, bringing together leading minds from across the communications industry. The Summit, themed “Building what’s next,” marked the ongoing shift from 6G research to standardization, with participants discussing key technologies like artificial intelligence, energy efficiency, security, network digital twins, and Non-Terrestrial Networks, while sharing their visions for 6G's transformative impact and necessity.

In this interview Yago Tenorio, CTO and SVP of Strategy and Technology Enablement at Verizon, explains that 6G is being designed as integral AI infrastructure, serving as a catalyzer for the AI transformation. He emphasizes that 6G is unique as the first mobile generation conceived with a specific "killer application" – bringing AI to everything and everyone.
