By collecting data from the millions of vehicles in our fleet and replicating real-world crash scenarios, we're able to engineer some of the safest vehicles on the road.

Autopilot allows Model S to steer within a lane, change lanes with the simple tap of a turn signal, and manage speed by using active, traffic-aware cruise control.

We lapped Laguna Seca in 1:36.555 during advanced R&D testing of our Model S Plaid powertrain and chassis prototype — a second faster than the record for a four-door sedan.
