Could the Ned Leeds we all know and love soon become the MCU’s version of the Hobgoblin? Say it ain’t so! But that option just opens up a whole range of new, exciting story opportunities that would just be too good to pass up! Could you see Ned suddenly don a goblin mask and start taking glider flying lessons? If so, how could it happen?

And that’s the focal point on today’s episode of CBR Saga, which if you haven’t heard by now, is definitely Spider-Man’s favorite show on the internet! Today is all about Ned Leeds and the possibility that the upcoming third Spider-Man movie will feature a villainous turn for the fan-favorite character. Aw man, Peter will be heartbroken! But how would this epic fracture in their friendship form? Would Ned feel a little jealous of Peter and turn against him? Would Ned want to start helping Peter more and develop his own super serum that goes haywire? Could Peter’s enemies, who now know who Spider-Man is, attack Ned and inject him with an experimental serum?

Or what if our Ned doesn’t become the Hobgoblin, but rather a different universe Ned? With the multiverse now in play, we could see a Ned from a different Earth come to wreak havoc on Peter’s life.
