Grand Admiral Thrawn Will Be The Real Villain In The Mandalorian

It’s a truly fantastic time to be a Star Wars fan! The Mandalorian season two is going strong with some of their best episodes yet! Not only is the show blazing a new and exciting trail for the Star Wars universe, but it’s also looking back on the fascinating past by incorporating characters from previous shows like The Clone Wars and Rebels. So where is all this leading to? Why the only place it could be, a big crossover epic!

You see, Star Wars: Rebels ended on a bit of a cliffhanger with Ezra Bridger and the villainous Grand Admiral Thrawn departing the galaxy for parts unknown to complete their final battle. While we didn’t get to see what happened to them, it seems more and more likely that their story might get told in live action like Bo-Katan’s or Ahsoka Tano’s.

It’s quite possible that The Mandalorian’s main villain could actually be working under the orders of Grand Admiral Thrawn himself, who is planning his triumphant comeback with a massive army of his own. While the heroes from the main Star Wars series are dealing with their own threats, our new favorites could all unite to stop Thrawn and the Imperial Remnant from overtaking the Outer Rim and then the galaxy!
