Dragon Ball Super’s puzzling character Master Zuno, who only appears briefly throughout the series, has been slightly left out of the discussion. Gifted with nigh-omniscience, Zuno knows all, Zuno sees all. Doesn’t this realization make your blood run cold? I thought so. Although he could have anything in the whole multiverse, the samurai-like being just floats around in his temple being content by giving answers to the burning questions of his many visitors. Or is he?
Whether his intentions are framed as good or bad, Zuno is clearly plotting something in the background. The answer to what his master plan might be may lie in the character’s obscure origins. The fact that he knows pretty much everything there is to know, hints that he has been around for ages somewhere prior to what the Dragon Ball lore refers to as Time Immemorial, which would mean that another civilization now destroyed might have existed way before Maijin Buu’s creation. How amazing would that be? Imagine all these tiny Zunos running around in samurai uniforms!
