There have been a lot of characters on the wishlist to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With almost 7,000 characters to choose from and a determination to use every last one of them, the line to get in can get pretty long. One of the character’s whose time has come might sound a little unexpected, but it makes complete sense. The name Braddock was name dropped during a tender moment in the past when Peggy Carter takes a work call while a Captain America even more out of time than normally watched in a dark room. Braddock is the last name of another country themed captain, this one for the British Isles, Captain Britain. Instead of getting their supersoldier from a serum or herb that grows next to vibranium. They got theirs the old fashion way, having old wizards broker the exchange of powerful swords and other magical items. Braddock is not only a magically powered defender of Britain, he’s also the brother to some notable mutants. But it’s his job with Merlin’s daughter Roma and the Captain America Corps protecting the various multiverses from their home base, the Starlight Citadel. No, it’s not the set of Xanadu, it’s a place that monitors the stability of all the multiple realities and dimensions. Just like in the comics, the MCU has done a lot of reality ripping lately and it might be on Captain Britain to come home to Earth and tell them to get their act together before something like House of M happens. Of course we’re not going to listen.
