The Boys: The Only Thing That Can Take Down Homelander

Everyone is OBSESSED with The Boys right now and I really can’t blame them. In a year where we have no superhero blockbusters, even Homelander is enough of a hero to save us from boredom! With so much focus on season two of the series, there really hasn’t been much on how the series will actually end. I mean eventually Billy Butcher and his Boys are going to have to take down Homelander. How exactly are they going to do that? I’m not sure they could truly handle Black Noir unless they have an Almond Joy handy.
Homelander is incredibly powerful even by the standards set by other heroes in the series. Truly it doesn’t seem like he has a single equal in the entire series. Even Stormfront steps lightly as she works to manipulate that crazy blonde head of his. He has super strength, speed, heat vision, invulnerability and flight just to name a few powers. Not only that but he’s a psychopath who seems on the verge of destroying every human on the planet any time he’s in a bad mood. So what are the Boys going to do?
Well, Homelander’s not all sadism and superheroes. Underneath that star spangled costume of his lies a special weakness that a few in the series have already discovered. I mean, despite the fact that Homelander is a god among men, he’s still under the heel of Vought Industries for a reason.
So let’s dive into Homelander’s greatest weakness.
