What do you think about our Red Skull theory?

Avengers: Infinity War delivered a lot of great surprises, but one of the biggest was the fact that Red Skull was revealed to be the guardian of the Soul Stone on Vormir. We learn that he was sent there after mishandling the Tesseract and now was cursed to spend his eternity helping others possess a treasure he himself could not obtain. That’s rough buddy!
And when we see Red Skull, he seemed like a shadow of his former self. Mostly gloomy and void of personality, but was this a trick? We know thanks to the Russo brothers that after Thanos got the Soul Stone, it meant Red Skull was now free from his captivity to go out and do whatever he wanted, which means he had serious incentive to get someone to retrieve the Soul Stone so that he could escape. Could this mean that the Red Skull actually orchestrated Thanos’ retrieval of the valuable Infinity Stone? It’s actually possible. We know that Gamora somehow found a map with the Soul Stone’s location on it, but we never learned how she actually got a hold of such an item. While she may have just stumbled across it, we want to consider the possibility that Red Skull actually was the one who sent her the map, knowing she would eventually share the location with The Mad Titan.
But what does this mean overall? It means that the Red Skull is still a major force within the MCU and now that he’s free, he’s able to continue his villainous ways. Today’s video is all about how Red Skull could’ve given Gamora the map to the Soul Stone and what it means for Red Skull’s MCU future. Check out the video now and be sure to leave a comment telling us if you want to see Red Skull come back in a future MCU movie! Thanks for watching CBR! Let’s get started.
