Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness could change everything.

There’s been a lot of debate over who is the most powerful hero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Some of that debate is fueled by the changing answers Kevin Fiege has given. While the Hulk and Thor have duked it out to see who’s the strongest, most powerful has bounced back and forth between Captain Marvel and Scarlet Witch, depending on who you ask. That makes sense when you see who gave Thanos the most difficulty during that final battle. But there is likely someone in the wings quietly waiting to be the most powerful but would never be so gouache to point it out, Doctor Strange. Doctor Strange is the non-joiner joiner of the Marvel Universe, taking on roles that manage superpowered beings more than just facing threats in teams like the Defenders or the Illuminati. Is the casually calm power of the comic book Doctor Strange heading to the MCU? All signs point to yes. Whether it’s because of Doctor Strange’s time with the Time Stone or if it’s harnessing the power of an unravelling multiverse, Phase IV is set to see Doctor Strange’s power grow with it. Doctor Strange has used his power and responsibility as the Sorcerer Supreme to protect the Earth from mystical threat, often teaming up with the best Marvel has to offer. With the gifts of sight and intelligence Doctor Strange has put his finger on some of the biggest events in the Marvel Universe, will we see him take on that role in the MCU? Let’s take a look.
