Everyone knows about heroes like Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman but sometimes less famous characters can do surprisingly well on the big screen. We’ve already seen the hero Shazam as part of the DC Extended Universe, and now we’ll be introduced to another character whom the wizard granted powers: Black Adam. Portrayed by Dwayne Johnson, this anti hero who was once known as Teth Adam could mean big changes for the DCEU as we know it today, especially since the Justice Society of America will make an appearance during his adventure. We’ll talk about his journey and how it dates all the way back to ancient Egypt and how it could tie into Zachary Levi’s portrayal of Shazam. There are a lot of reasons to be excited for this new movie and the film itself is just the beginning! Before there was Billy Batson, there was another champion and it’s finally time we get the chance to see his story on the big screen.
