It seems like it was just yesterday when My Hero Academia season 4 was starting and now here we are in the long long wait for season five. Season 4 had a ton of great moments that will hold us over for a little while at least. Who can forget Midoriya taking on Overhaul? What about Endeavor’s glorious final fight to close out the season? Also, we barely knew you Sir Nighteye, but it was a pleasure. R.I.P.
That being said, season 4 left us with so many dangling plot threads and questions that we will have to wait SO LONG to have answered. For starters, there’s that wickedly mysterious dream that closes out the season. What exactly is going on with Midoriya’s One For All quirk and how will it affect his career as a hero?
There’s also the question about where the gang goes from here. Now that they are making real steps towards becoming heroes, how will that influence their powers and personal relationships? Will our gang be taking on the Big Three anytime soon? Will Bakugou ever chill out?
All of this pales in comparison to the greater mysteries at hand. What was the deal with Sir Nighteye’s grim prediction about All Might? Will Midoriya actually defy fate by becoming All Might’s worthy successor? What exactly is the League of Villains plotting next?
