Shonen Jump is one of the most famous and widely publicized magazines in the world. Starting in 1968 Shonen Jump has been a weekly anthology of manga that has featured some of the most widely recognized and famous anime and manga characters of all time. Often referred to as the “Big three” Dragon Ball, One Piece and Naruto have been a staple of Shonen Jump for decades. While Naruto may have ended and Boruto has taken the stage, One Piece is still going strong today, but we are not here to just discuss One Piece.
Shonen largely features action or battle manga, featuring powerful characters duking it out in powerful battles. You can surmise that by just looking at their three most popular franchises. However, in the years that Shonen has been around, what are the most powerful characters they have featured? Well, that is what we are going to talk about today. We will be looking at the ten most powerful Shonen Jump characters. From the classics like Monkey D. Luffy and Goku to more modern arrivals like Gintama and Light Yagami. That’s right, not every strong character needs to throw a massive punch, they just need to wield a power that elevates them above all others. This will be a ranking, and of course, we can’t have all of the characters Shonen has featured.
