All Might stands as one of anime’s greatest heroes, the ultimate protector, the Symbol of Peace. But although we love All Might and what he stands for, there’s still a ton of stuff we don’t know about the character. The hero is one of the most complex characters in all of My Hero Academia and throughout the course of the show we’ve cheered along with him as he beats up bad guys with his amazing One For All quirk, and cried our eyes out when he was forced to retire. But we still want to know more about him!

And there’s a ton of things you may not know about the loveable Toshinori Yagi. Did you know that he’s modeled after America’s most famous superhero Superman? Or that Goku from Dragonball Z had a major influence on his famous ‘I Am Here’ catchphrase? Maybe you did, but did you also know that My Hero Academia creator Kohei Horikoshi’s friends didn’t like the concept of All Might?
