Wade Wilson may not be the prettiest guy in the world to look at, but he does have some pretty amazing features he keeps hidden under his suit. Most fans know he has an accelerated healing ability, since we’ve seen him survive some pretty over the top situations. But this could also help explain some of his brain issues and maybe even the reason he spouts a constant line of dialogue. On the plus side, he has a strong telepathic resistance because even folks with psychic super powers can’t quite figure him out. Yes, he has some erratic behavior, but he’s essentially immortal and the aging process barely touches him. Because of his involvement in the Weapons Plus program, he has some of Wolverine’s abilities, but he’s definitely not short on his own. . .talents. Even though his cancer diagnosis is the reason he underwent the program in the first place, it’s also one of the things keeping him alive at this point in time.
