Why Weren’t the Eternals in the Infinity Saga,

As much as we love major Marvel Cinematic Universe events like the Infinity Saga, they do present a problem when it comes to incorporating some of our favorite comic book characters later on. Basically, it can seem like a plot hole to have ultra powerful characters that don’t get involved when the Mad Titan Thanos is running around collecting all of the Infinity Stones and wiping out half of all life in the universe. That kind of thing is pretty noticeable, and since Phase Four is giving us The Eternals movie, we have to wonder where these characters like the weaponsmith Phastos and socialite Sersi have been all of this time and why they didn’t step up to help fight during films like Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. But there could be some convincing reasons for their lack of involvement that take us all the way back to what we saw in the Guardians of the Galaxy films. Could Celestials like Ego the Living Planet have something to do with why this race has remained a secret for so long?
