Bane occupies a special place in Batman’s heart. He’ll always be the villain that successfully broke the Bat. Not many villains can claim they’ve successfully done that, not even Joker! Which is why the new Batman films should utilize the Venom-induced brawny genius. Bane not only would provide a great physical threat for Robert Pattinson’s Batman, but also challenge him in a way we’ve never seen on screen before!

Because if you look at the current roster of villains for The Batman, you’ll see just how much danger Bruce Wayne will be facing in this movie. He’s got to deal with The Riddler, The Penguin, Catwoman and Carmine Falcone. That’s rough for any superhero! And after he emerges triumphant, we think it’s the perfect time for a wrecking ball-like villain to come through and completely disrupt Batman’s life. After Batman is tired out, it would make sense for the The Batman sequel to pit him against someone who’s trying to break him in every sense of the word. And if you think Bane is just some strong fighter, you’d be mistaken. He’s one of the best tactical villains ever and it’s his brain, not his muscles that make him one of the scariest and toughest Batman villains ever.
