The Fast & Furious franchise is roaring back into theatres once again with Fast & Furious 9. The new film looks like it might be the best in the entire series. Not only does it feature the return of Cipher and plenty of high octane action but also quite a few surprises. The film is introducing the one and only John Cena as Dom’s brother Jakob. Not only that but it is bringing back the fan-favorite character Han!

Now that we know that Han is alive and well, that means that there’s a countdown until the inevitable day when Han will get the showdown with Deckard Shaw that he so desperately deserves. Of course, in order to do that, the entire Fast franchise would have to go to war with the Hobbs & Shaw franchise. This would essentially be the Captain America: Civil War of the extended Fast universe.

So how would such a film work? What could possibly turn friends like Hobbs and Dom against each other and make stars like Vin Diesel and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson friends again? Well, you’d need a truly epic story that would be impossible for either actor to turn away. One that would be just as emotional for both characters just like Civil War was for both Steve Rogers and Tony Stark.

Not to mention the showdown between Han and Shaw that we’ve all been waiting for ever since Fast & Furious 6 ended.
