There are a lot of powerful characters in Dragon Ball. It’s kind of crazy to think that once upon a time, Master Roshi and King Piccolo were two of the strongest characters in the franchise. Since those days we’ve been treated to stronger and stronger characters for Goku to contend with. From Vegeta and Frieza all the way to Cell and Majin Bu, Dragon Ball Z rapidly built characters that were so much more powerful than any who came before.

Then Dragon Ball Super premiered and made everyone who came before basically a joke. The series started by introducing us to the god of destruction Beerus. He was so powerful that even Frieza and Vegeta were afraid of him. It turns out that he was just the tip of the iceberg though as the show introduced us to angels, multiverses and the cutest gods you’ve ever seen.

One of the most powerful of these new characters is the Grand Priest who is basically the father of all angels. When Goku meets him, it’s explained that he’s one of the most powerful characters in the entire multiverse.

That leads to the obvious question, if the Grand Priest is one of the most powerful characters in the multiverse, who is the most powerful? Well there are several options ranging from magical entities to the lords of the multiverse itself.
