It’s been over two decades since we got the last film installment in the “Mortal Kombat” series. Production on a live-action, R-rated reboot by Warner Brothers started all the way back in 2010, leading fans to think that an official release was never going to come. Well, we have some good news, because “Mortal Kombat” has an official cast and release date. In fact, the movie has even wrapped filming! While not a lot has been revealed so far, we do know what characters will be appearing and that the franchise’s film revival will be gorier and more action-packed than ever.
