Everyone knows that there are tons of different versions of this infamous Batman villain from the comic books to the big screen. But today we’re talking about the DCEU canon’s version of the Joker character. Since “Suicide Squad” came out, fans haven’t stopped complaining about Jared Leto’s portrayal of the Clown Prince of Crime, and frankly neither have I! He was mostly absent for “Birds of Prey” and could the success of his ex mean that he’s gone for good? We’ll talk about why Harley Quinn is so much more compelling and why we hope to see more of Margot Robbie in the future. While the Clown Prince is great at antagonizing his nemesis, we can hardly see him getting along with characters like the Black Canary and Helena Bertinelli, let alone Renee Montoya. SUre, it’s fine for people to go solo, but Harley’s potential as a teammate and anti hero makes her so much more interesting to watch.
What do you think about the way the Clown Prince has been portrayed in the DCEU so far? Do you think he has the chance to make a triumphant return or would you prefer that they move on to other characters? Take to the comment section and share your thoughts with us and your fellow fans.
