There’s no denying that Henry Cavill makes being an incredible golden-eyed warrior look absolutely awesome on The Witcher Netflix series. But training at Kaer Mohren isn’t all fun and games. We’ll talk about some of the benefits of this career including an incredible disease resistance and enhanced abilities. But when you get the process explained you might not want to consider a career as a monster hunter because there are some serious downsides. Geralt of Rivia wasn’t recruited through the Law of Surprise, but many other children including Princess Cirilla were. Their combat magic may not be on par with that of sorceresses like Yennefer of Vengerberg, but it definitely serves its purpose. The processes potential Witchers have to go through are unpleasant to say the least and gruelling and potentially lethal to be more accurate. Getting night vision is just one of the perks of this profession but there are quite a few more. You’ll learn why these fighters are so perfectly suited to taking down monsters but why they don’t get invited to many dinner parties.
