If you haven’t had a chance to head to your local theater and see Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, you’ll want to do so before watching this video or reading on to avoid any spoilers. Based on the movie trailer we all knew Emperor Palpatine was coming back and he showed up with his standard lightning bolts and an incredible Force Power to show off. Darth Sidious attempted to use the Transfer Essence skill to take over the body of his granddaughter Rey using an ancient Sith ritual. We’ll talk about the history of this technique and how it’s been used to gain immortality. It also ties into how this evil organization has spent so much of its time and resources perfecting cloning technology.
