Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame were mega crossover event films. They were filled with so many epic moments, team-ups and one outstanding villain who was, of course, the Mad Titan Thanos.
Fans couldn’t have asked for more, but ever since the two films came out, we’ve been finding out more and more about the original plans for these two Avengers movies.
In the early stages of the script, plans tend to be wild and, according to writers Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus, who wrote Avengers Infinity War, Endgame and all the Captain America movies, there were ideas to add a whole new character to Infinity War.
This character is none other than the cosmic hero, Nova.
The original ideas for Nova’s role in Infinity War are very surprising and they could’ve changed the film quite a lot, and likely had major effects on Endgame as well.
While these plans never came to be, it’s clear that Marvel Studios has major plans for Nova in their cinematic universe.
We’ll explain what Nova’s role was going to be in Infinity War and how it could’ve affected the movie as well as what Nova’s role could be in the new Marvel cinematic universe saga.
It’s clear that there are plans to expand the cosmic side of the MCU and we think that Nova will fit right in, especially if Marvel Studios adapts the Annihilation storyline.
