Some of us were less than thrilled about signing up for yet another streaming service, but somehow one look at Baby Yoda and everything seems okay! Let’s just enjoy that a puppet is the biggest breakup star of a long-awaited live action program set in the Star Wars universe! On The Mandalorian show, our main Mando is out to protect his charge from a legion of bounty hunters but who is really behind them? Could it be that the late Emperor Palpatine isn’t quite as gone as he appeared during Return of the Jedi? Dr. Pershing seemed intend on keeping the child alive but was it out of the kindness of his heart or due to a direct command from his master? It’s possible that this old Dark Side user is back and looking to make the transfer essence skill canon. And if that’s the case it could easily tie into The Rise of Skywalker.
