10 Marvel Characters Who Aren’t As Strong As They Could Be

As much as we love seeing high-flying action in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we have to admit sometimes things are just more exciting in the comic books. And usually the characters are a lot more powerful! The Mad Titan and his daughter Gamora definitely don’t have the best relationship on either platform, but their source material strength is next level. Some characters, like the Scarlet Witch and Captain Marvel haven’t shown the true limits of their strength yet but we have high hopes for the future. But then there are folks like Drax the Destroyer who just seem to embarrass themselves whenever they actually try to get any fighting done. Helmut Zemo was definitely an effective villain in Captain America: Civil War but he is so much mightier and crazier in his original version. Drax the Destroyer has a great nickname but the MCU version really pales in comparison to how strong he should be. And let’s just say he wouldn’t be making jokes about Mantis if she was more like she is in the graphic novels.
