Villains can be pretty scary. They usually have nefarious plans and they don’t really care much for the safety of anyone else. But there are some heroes in the pages of Marvel Comics and Marvel Cinematic Universe that are more than just a little scary, they’re down right horrifying. Some are so scary that they could manage their own horror film. With October in full swing we’re coming up with a list of Marvel Villains that could make for a great horror film for your Halloween pleasure. There are your demons from other worlds like Mephisto, Dormammu, Shuma-Gorath, and Nightmare himself. Some are just unimaginably alien beings like the Spineless Ones of the Mojoverse and its leader Mojo or the sinister Brood. And some are just very determined sociopaths with a flair for the exotic like Arcade and Kingpin. Whether their foes are the X-Men, Avengers, Spider-man, Ghost Rider, or Doctor Strange these villains can leave some deep mental scars. Even some more conventional villains like the unkillable android Ultron or Abomination if handled the right way can be the center of their own horror movie. All that needs to happen is to focus on their darker methods. When Hela was returned to the mortal world and started feeding lost souls in the streets of Las Vegas. Some have practically already been in horror movies, or at least shows, given how they went about menacing their heroes, like Jessica Jones Kilgrave. All of that could make for a good horror movie.
