We have seen some of the science bros pull off some truly incredible feats in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but there’s just one thing they can’t seem to get right. We’re talking about the famous Super Soldier Serum that gave Steve Rogers his super powers in the movie Captain America: The First Avenger. It was developed by Dr. Abraham Erskine, and we are not trying to undersell his brilliance but isn’t it kind of crazy that nobody has been able to replicate his results ever since? Even Bruce Banner couldn’t do it during The Incredible Hulk despite doing pretty well on the whole time travel thing during Avengers: Endgame. Hey, we aren’t saying it was perfect but it was pretty impressive. But could there be a compelling and intangible reason that the substance worked so well on one man but also turned Johann Schmidt into the Red Skull? It could be possible that the two versions of it were less different than the good doctor lead us to believe and the truth is much harder to replicate even in the most state of the art laboratory.
Do you think this interesting fan theory has legs or is it just something that is fun to think about?
