The Times Rick Failed At Science In Rick And Morty

Rick and Morty is a brilliant show featuring the brilliant mind of Rick Sanchez. Now, while we all know that the ethical concerns are almost always a constant issue in this universe, it turns out the actual science isn’t always right either. Today we’re going to talk about some the things the show got wrong. In “Wedding Squanchers” the Smith family finds themselves on a planet with a screaming sun but would you really be able to hear it through the vacuum of space? There are so many things wrong with “Anatomy Park” it’s hard to know where to begin but we’ll start with the shrinking technology. And while we love a good multiverse theory the way it’s presented on the show has some issues. There’s more than just a practical issue when it comes to “Raising Gazorpazorp” and the way our heroes travel through dreams in “Lawnmower Dog” would simply never work in the real world. But speaking of, you might be surprised how many actual scientific journals were totally fooled by an episode of the show. We’ll also go over some sci-fi stables like neutronium and what is plutonium. We also hate to say it but a love potion would require much more than what we saw in Rick Potion #9.
What do you think is the most inaccurate, far-fetched thing to ever take place on the show? Share it with us in the comment section and then click on the subscribe button to get access to more videos from us here at CBR.
