The Marvel Cinematic Universe has captured our hearts on so many occasions, but they’ve also broke them just as often. Almost no one does storytelling better than Marvel Studios. They make us feel for their characters because they’re just so relatable and have real world problems like the rest of us. While this is great, it also makes us feel all the feels when things go bad, so, without further ado, let’s get into the MCU scenes that made true fans cry.
Iron Man’s death in Avengers: Endgame was absolutely tragic. Now, we knew that at least one of the major players in the MCU were probably going to die in some way, shape or form in the film, but the way it happened, and everything that happened after it, made Tony’s death really hit us where it hurts. But don’t forget about Black Widow. She also died in the film and her sacrifice was just as important as Tony’s because they never would’ve got all 6 Infinity Stones if she didn’t jump off that cliff in Vormir. Even Captain America had a send off in Endgame where he went back in time to live his life with Peggy Carter before returning to the main timeline all old and grey, but their relationship had a tragic end before time travel changed everything.
