At this year’s Comic-Con, we finally got some information on what to expect in the MCU following the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home. One of the earliest comic book superhero movies is going to be brought into the Marvel Cinematic Universe starring none other than Green Book actor Mahershala Ali. Yes, we’re actually going to get a Blade reboot according to Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige. Although we most likely won’t be seeing it hit theaters until Phase Five, we can’t help but be excited about what this will mean from the MCU.
The movie Doctor Strange really upped the presence of the supernatural in the MCU and, in many ways, laid the groundwork for this momentous occasion. With the sequel, Multiverse of Madness, scheduled for the fourth phase of movies, some fans are wondering if we might be able to see a sneak peek cameo of things to come. We’ll talk about how actors are reacting to the news of the movie, including original star Welsey Snipes and director Jordan Peele.
What do you think about the idea of this cult classic franchise making its way into the MCU? Are you looking forward to vampires roaming the streets of New York City or would you like this movie stay in the past?
