There are tons of things to love about Disney Pixar from their award-winning animation to their complex and compelling characters. Toy Story 4 takes us along on an adventure with our old pal Woody, as he tries to save the day, and his new pal Forky. Of course, we got swept up in the awesome music and nostalgia, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t take in all of the movie references, Easter eggs, hidden jokes and other things nobody realized while watching. If you were too busy crying after hearing “You’ve Got A Friend In Me,” don’t worry, we got you.
The lost toys may struggle to find kids to play with, but they do find a very interesting piece of movie memorabilia in the form of a grape soda bottle cap which should look very familiar. We’ll also talk about what famous films we saw traces of such as Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining and 2001: A Space Odyssey, and Steven Spielberg’s E.T.: The Extraterrestrial. Could former carnival prizes Ducky and Bunny have something to do with the shared universe theory?
There’s no doubt this movie had more than its fair share of funny moments. In fact, the funny might have actually outweighed the heartwarming in this case! We’ve shared some of the ones we liked the best, but tell us which was your favorite in the comments section below.
