The first Black Panther movie was a huge success. Not only was it a massive hit in the box office, which made it one of the most successful superhero movies ever, but it’s also the MCU’s most profitable standalone movie, with only the Avengers movies making more money. With that success it’s clear that we’ll be getting a Black Panther 2 movie and, while there’s still no release date set, we’re sure the film will be coming out very soon. But the thing is that, since 2018’s Black Panther, T'Challa has appeared in two massive movies and those changed a lot for the Black Panther.
In Avengers: Infinity War, Black Panther was dusted during the decimation, along with the other half of all life in the universe, and, in Endgame, the snap was undone, with all the dusted coming back to life, including T'Challa and his sister, Shuri. The interesting thing about this is that there are five years in between these major events and half a decade is a long time to be gone, especially for the king of Wakanda. With T'Challa revealing the truth about Wakanda to the world in 2018’s Black Panther, it’s possible that the hidden African nation will be seen as a threat by some. Endgame has teased the possibility that Namor the Sub-Mariner will show up in Black Panther 2 and we think we’ll see an all-out war between Wakanda and Atlantis. It’ll be interesting to see how the future of the MCU will be set up in the movie.
