While the folks at Epic Games have done a lot of things right with Fortnite battle royale since it was released back in September 2017, they’ve also done a lot of wrong. Throughout each of the last 9 seasons, there’ve been plenty of times Epic Games let the community down by adding or removing weapons and features. What can we say, we’re a very salty community with a lot of different opinions, so we could get ticked off very easily.

When talking about the biggest letdowns in Fortnite history, you have to look at what happened recently. Of course, we’re talking about the fact that everyone’s favorite weapon, the pump shotgun, got vaulted. It was a move that Epic Games knew they were going to get backlash over, yet they did it anyway. This also means the double pump dream is over because how could you have two pumps if it’s impossible to even have one? It was disappointing, but at least we got the Drum Gun back! Well, we certainly did get it back, but the jury’s still out as to whether or not it’ll be a good thing moving forward. What we can tell you is that most players are very disappointed over the fact that the Drum Gun is unvaulted.
