The Strangest Villain Rules in Dragon Ball

From the longest five minutes in anime history to the showdown in the Cell games, the Dragon Ball franchise has had a host of unique villains and enemies as well as many memorable battles. Some of the most iconic villains include Frieza, Cell and the Androids, along with the many versions of Buu. Throughout all of the epic fights and world ending attacks, there are some things about these fights that seem a little bit repetitive. Well, that may not be the right word for it, a more accurate statement would be that Dragon Ball fights have a kind of “ritual” or “staging” about them.
There are certain elements that crop up in a majority of Dragon Ball fights over the years. These are kind of soft rules for the Dragonball universe. They can range from how they power up, the time it takes for them to “get serious” in a fight and so on. Today, we’ll be looking at just some of the rules the villains follow when it comes to Dragon Ball and other shows within the franchise. Now, these rules won’t fit perfectly in each fight, but we’re picking certain mannerisms that fit in a not insignificant amount of fights in Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball.
