Spider-Man had been capturing the imagination of audiences for decades throughout Marvel comic books. Now, there are video games, movies and so much more featuring our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. We’ll talk about the latest additions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe including Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home. Learn more about some of the most powerful villains Spider-Man has ever had had to face during his crime fighting career. Although many consider Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson to be the one true pairing, his relationship with Gwen Stacy is an integral part of his backstory and how he developed as a superhero.

We’ll also talk about the Peter Parker origin story that many people don’t know about. Sure, we’ve all heard about Aunt May and the late Uncle Ben, but what about Peter’s parents Richard and Mary Parker? Or his sister, Teresa Parker? Although we might know his origin story, you may be surprised how complicated the credit for who came up with Spider-Man is to dish out. As popular as he is now, it might surprise you to know that Marvel comic publisher Martin Goodman was sure the hero would be a flop.
