It’s hard not to be excited about the latest movie trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home, especially since we get to see Jake Gyllenhaal portraying the popular enemy of Peter Parker, Mysterio. In the most trailer, it seemed like Quentin Beck was a good guy or at least Nick Fury seemed to think so. Huh? Is it possible that he’s from an multiverse where he’s actually a hero and not a villain? Or is that exactly what he wants us to think?
Sure, the villain Mysterio has tons of tricks and gadgets, but he’s also a master of deception. It’s entirely possible he’s trying to bamboozle everyone into thinking he’s a good guy when he’s really waiting for the right time to strike. We’ll talk about the Mysterio we know from the comic books and how this could be relevant to him showing up in the MCU. Now that Tony Stark isn’t around anymore, Peter Parker is going to have to figure out what’s going on by himself.
What do you think about the idea that Quentin Beck might be trying to fool everyone in Spider-Man: Far From Home? Do you think the Marvel Cinematic Universe version of Mysterio is just a nice guy or is there something more at play here? Let us know what you think about this possibility in the comments section below and then take a moment to click on the subscribe button to get access to even more videos from us here at CBR.
