It would be a massive understatement to call April’s Avengers: Endgame highly anticipated. Ever since Thanos gave that knowing smirk at the end of 2012’s Avengers, all roads have lead to this. With Thanos having snapped out half of existence, we’ve been on pins and needles for the last year trying to figure out how that snap can be undone and how our favorite heroes will be returned to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it’s more than just plans and schemes, there are also some fights that we’re looking forward to seeing.

With an announced run time of over three hours, there should be plenty of time between the planning and pathos for some good old fashion MCU fights. Some heroes who haven’t met yet need to get their traditional fights over with before they can team up, while other heroes are due a rematch. With time travel on the table, the door is open for some matches that couldn’t have happened otherwise. Here are some we’re hoping to see.
